Muskegon Junior Sailing Association (MJSA)

The Muskegon Junior Sailing Program is funded through fund raising activities, donations and support from Muskegon Yacht Club. Fund raising activities and donations are managed through the Muskegon Junior Sailing Association, a non-profit 501-C3 organization that promotes youth sailing.

The Muskegon Yacht Club provides the facilities for the program, administrative support and maintains the equipment that is leased from the MJSA. This cooperative between MYC and the MJSA is a typical model used to support Youth Sailing Programs throughout the United States. Similar to any youth sailing program that maintains a non-profit status, the Muskegon Junior Sailing Program is open to the general public.

Recognizing that fees collected for the program only cover operations expenses, volunteers and fund raising is critical keeping the program afloat. Please consider making a donation and/or getting involved with the program. Major projects are typically done in the off season. Volunteers are needed in the summer months to assist with program logistics.

Tax deductible donations made out to Muskegon Junior Sailing Association can be sent directly to:
