Congratulations to the Standard Deviation crew on their win in the Governor's Cup! The Lieutenant Governor's Cup was claimed by Matt Bombery an the Gambit crew. Thanks, as well, to the volunteers and staff who work so hard to put on a great event. The weather gods looked to deal us lemons, but we made lemonade.

Haulout day has been moved up to October 9th to facilitate the removal of the old docks. There's work planned on the north end of the property (Octagon building end) before that, so trailers and boats will need to be moved. Ask Tari Smith where they may be moved ... they may need to leave for a while. Let's all be patient and move through the construction mess with humor and understanding.

Due to the date change for haulout, the Annual General Meeting will be held Friday evening, October 8th.

Congratulations to ALL the MYC sailors who competed in the CYC Mac, with special kudos to the skippers and crews of Lady K, Peerless, and Souvenir. Great sailors all!
